What are Data Repositories? And Explain the public Datasets and private Datasets
·
A
data repository
is a centralized storage system where large collections of data are stored,
organized, managed, and maintained for analysis and future use.
·
The data repository uses structured organization methods,
standardized schemas, and metadata to ensure the data is always the same and
easy to find.
·
In
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science, data repositories are very
important because AI models require large amounts of data for training and
testing.
·
Data
repositories are mainly classified into two types:
o
Public
Datasets
o Private Datasets
